Anglian Training successfully hosted The Care for Norfolk Conference which took place at The Norwich City Football Club on the 22nd May. We had over 300 delegates from the care sector across Norfolk attending.
The conference had 2 key note speaker areas with sessions delivered from a range of individuals including Jennifer Bute speaking about her own experience having been diagnosed with early onset Dementia and Nadra Ahmed OBE Chair of the National Care Association. There were some inspirational sessions delivered on a range of topics including Leadership, Dementia, Diabetes and a panel discussion from a team of Outstanding care providers.
In addition to the speakers we also had an exhibition area with over 40 organisations that provide products or services to the sector exhibiting. We had everything from kitchen appliances and assistive technology to day centres and dementia tables.
This was the first year that Anglian Training had hosted the event and we are hoping to start organising a similar event for 2020 soon!
